Today – Sean from APU

SPRING 2012
I am incredibly deliberate in celebrating the today the Lord has blessed me with. I went on a solo-walk along the streets to just take in everything, stand underneath the expansive blue sky, feel the numbness graze along my face. And then a “holy moly, I’m actually living this right now” moment came over me. It was beautiful, and undoubtedly such a gift.

Amidst the exhilarating chaos of being in the unfamiliar, you find that living in today is both necessary and enriching. In a little over three months, when I fly back across the Atlantic, I want to believe—with full confidence—that I experienced life in Lithuania to the fullest. Whether it’s being a purposeful student in the classroom or sharing conversations over dinner with foreign friends, I seek to celebrate the today in which God has called me to live.
