This week’s word of the week is искатель приключений, the Russian word for “adventurer”. On October 25th, the Study Abroad group will be taking at trip to Russia (both Moscow and Saint Petersburg). As foreigners, we will effectively be adventurers in a new environment. I am a bit anxious about the trip because of the whole not being able to read thing; however, most of our lovely interns speak Russian (at least to some degree), so that’ll be nice. In the mean time, keep practicing the Cyrillic alphabet! Here is a video showing some useful Russian phrases!
