8 Intersting Places to Travel

Traveling throughout Europe is one of the best and easiest things about studying abroad in Lithuania. It is super easy to find cheap flights, buses and trains to get almost anywhere that your heart desires! Check out some popular places to go from study abroads this semester and from previous!

1) Poland

If you want to go somewhere filled with history, Poland is your place. Between Auschwitz, Krakow and Warsaw, there is beauty and history everywhere you go!

2) Germany

There is a variety of things you can do in Germany. Maybe head down to southern Germany to check out Munich or travel through the northern

3) Netherlands

Amsterdam is a common point of interest for those studying at LCC. With stunning architecture everywhere you turn and plenty of museums to visit, it will be a well worth it trip.

4) England

Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Platform 9 ¾, and the list goes on and on! If you want a nice weekend get away with plenty of sight-seeing, head over to London. And for added bonus, you will finally be somewhere English speaking!

5) Latvia

Right above Lithuania, Latvia is just a bus ride away! The capital Riga is a common place to visit. Whether you want to look through outside markets, parks or visit monuments of Latvia’s independence!

6) Belgium

Fries, waffles, chocolate and peeing statues: every college students dream! While Belgium may not be one of the more visited countries near Lithuania but it definitely has that home town feel!

7) Ireland

Never ending green is what you will see traveling to Ireland. A bit further away from Lithuania, Dublin is a great place to grab a bite with friends and just enjoy the scenery!

8) Estonia

Furthest north of the Baltic States, head to the capital Tallinn to spend time exploring through this small but beautiful town
