In just a couple of days, the Study Abroad cohort will be traveling to Russia for Fall Break! One of the cities we will visit is St. Petersburg, which is known as the “Venice of the North” because of its beautiful architecture, history, and hub as a center for the arts. (For you classical music geeks, Tchaikovsky was born here!) Some the stops on the itinerary are:
…the famous Hermitage Museum, which houses many acclaimed works of art
…”Feel Yourself Russian”, a dance, dinner, and music show highlighting traditional Russian culture.
…Spilt Blood Church
…”Midsummer Night’s Dream” ballet
and much more! We’re pretty excited, needless to say. Here’s a cool aerial video that highlights some of the architecture we’ll be seeing. 🙂
